The RocketPort Serial Hub Si provides "native" COM ports that deliver all the performance of an in-server card, with speeds up to 230 Kbps. Based on Comtrol's industry-leading RocketPort processor, Comtrol has taken the concept of in-server serial controllers to its next logical step. Unique software driver technology provides the operating system with the ability to identify and transparently access these ports just as if they were physically installed on an expansion card inside the server. Multi-server port assignment enables ports to be assigned to, and controlled by, different servers.
