PortVision is Comtrol’s break-through software for efficiently locating, configuring and managing DeviceMasters over the network. Designed for Comtrol's DeviceMaster® line of serial device servers, PortVision enables administrators to configure, monitor, and manage multiple DeviceMasters from one centralized application.

Once installed on a network-attached PC or server running either Microsoft® Windows® 2000 or Windows XP®, PortVision detects and graphically displays every DeviceMaster on your network. At a glance, administrators get a real-time view of the operating conditions of each device server.

Need more detailed information? It's just a click away with PortVision. Want to change network configurations, TCP socket communications, serial-port settings, security parameters, or view up-to-date diagnostic information? PortVision does that too. And when you have multiple DeviceMaster units deployed, you can conveniently save your customized DeviceMaster configurations and apply them to one or dozens of similar DeviceMaster units.
