Overview
The RocketPort Surge Interface is designed to work with the RocketPort and RocketPort PCI 8, 16 and 32 port controllers.
Surge interface added features:
- 25 KV @400A for 10ns ESD protection: The industry standard is anywhere from 6 KV to 15 KV.
- RS-232/422 switch selectable ports: Allows versatility and easy configuration of port to match diverse installations.
- Biased termination of the RS-422 option: Provides reduced input sensitivity to noise.
- 25-pin male connectors: Connectors that conform more closely to the industry standard for PC serial connections.
