Comtrol Corporation Awarded GSA Schedule Contract
MINNEAPOLIS — May 13, 2009 … Comtrol Corporation, a worldwide leader in device connectivity, today announced that the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) awarded Comtrol contract GS-35F-0401V under Schedule 70, which includes vendors of general purpose commercial information technology equipment, software and services. This GSA listing provides government customers with a convenient and efficient way to purchase the company’s device connectivity, industrial Ethernet gateways and intelligent embedded device connectivity products.
“Comtrol has served government organizations for more than 25 years—particularly in the State and Defense Departments,” said Ehssan Taghizadeh, president and COO of Comtrol. “Being listed on the GSA Schedule will simplify our interactions with well-established customers and allow us to introduce Comtrol to a broader base of government agencies.”
The GSA Schedules Program establishes long-term, government-wide contracts with commercial firms to provide agencies at all levels of government with access to more than 11 million commercial supplies and services. In becoming a GSA vendor, Comtrol was the subject of an independent audit of customer references and financial performance.
