Junior Software Engineer

Primary Responsibility:

Implementation, testing and support of GSS (Guest Service Systems) interface modules for Comtrol’s Lodging Link product line.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Implement Lodging Link interface modules in accordance with design specifications provided by management.

• Generate complete and thorough test plans for various interface modules.
• Test and track the results of interface modules in accordance with test plans.
• Maintain existing interface modules including trouble shooting, fixing bugs and improving functionality. 
• Interact with various technical contacts to assist with customer troubleshooting, installation and other technical needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Associates degree in Computer Science or equivalent -OR- a minimum of 2 years experience in software design/implementation.
• A thorough understanding of object oriented design.
• Knowledge of C and C++ syntax.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Knowledge of IP and Serial communications preferred, but not required.
